Heart Gallery Hawaii and Project Visitation sponsored an event at Kualoa Ranch for foster children and their families. Kokua `Ohana families were invited to participate, so a few of our families and mine got to enjoy the day at the ranch.
Cody & Charles and Kayla, Kyle, & Kavin went with Jeff & I. We made a stop at 7-11 for food and went early to help. The ranch staff were super nice, and we were able to go on the Ranch and movie set tour, kiddie horse rides, visit the petting zoo, and had lunch there. It was a beautiful day with a spectacular backdrop...the mountains.
Kavin especially enjoyed riding Buddah and took it very seriously. He kept looking at the "cowhorsy" as Uncle Jeff called it (a fake horse with spots like a cow).
Uncle Jeff says that every kid needs a leash. Since we didn't take one with us, he used a make shift one.
